About Ramsbottom Upholstery

Over 40 Years at the Bench

I'm Antony Slavinski, and I've been upholstering furniture for over four decades. What started as a trade became a craft, and the craft became a way of life. Every project that comes through the workshop door gets the same level of care, whether it's a family heirloom that needs a new lease of life or a commercial refit that needs to stand up to years of heavy use.

I work from my workshop on Edith Street in Ramsbottom, right in the heart of the valley. I personally oversee every project that comes through the door, making sure the quality and finish are exactly right. No production lines, no cutting corners. Just proper craftsmanship and attention to detail on every piece.

Done Right, Every Time

Every piece of furniture is different, and every client has different needs. That's why I start every project with a proper conversation. I'll take a look at what you've got, talk through the options, and give you honest advice about what's worth doing and what isn't.

I work with some of the best fabric and leather suppliers in the country, including Clarke and Clarke, Crest Leather, Futura Leathers and Yarwood Leather. Whether you want something traditional or contemporary, hardwearing or luxurious, we'll find the right material for the job.

Once we've agreed on the approach, I get to work. I'll keep you updated along the way and I won't rush it. Good upholstery takes time, and the results are always worth the wait.
